Governance, Compliance & ESG Commitment
For a firm that advises on regulation, compliance, and investment governance, our own house must be impeccable. CIRUU’s governance framework is not a marketing exercise. It is the operational foundation that allows us to serve clients in complex jurisdictions with integrity and credibility.
Corporate Governance
CIRUU operates under a governance framework designed for institutional maturity. Our board provides strategic oversight and risk governance. Engagement acceptance is subject to formal screening for client identity, conflicts, sanctions exposure, and reputational risk. Every engagement follows documented quality-assurance processes, and post-engagement reviews capture lessons and template improvements for continuous operational improvement.
Compliance Standards
- Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABAC): CIRUU maintains a zero-tolerance policy on bribery and corruption. All team members, partners, and associates are subject to ABAC training, and all third-party engagements are screened for corruption risk.
- Sanctions Screening: Client, counterparty, and partner screening against applicable sanctions lists is mandatory for every engagement.
- Data Security: Client data is managed under documented security protocols, with access controls, encryption standards, and incident-response procedures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we handle.
- Conflict of Interest: Formal conflict-identification and management protocols apply to every engagement, with escalation to the board where material conflicts are identified.
Environmental, Social & Governance Principles
ESG Commitment
Environmental
E
We advise on energy transition and decarbonisation. We hold ourselves to the same standard — minimising our own environmental footprint, choosing sustainable suppliers, and maintaining a carbon-efficient digital infrastructure.
Social
S
We are committed to diversity in our team, our partner bench, and our advisory work. We operate across three continents and believe that diverse perspectives produce better decisions.
Governance
G
Governance is our product. It must also be our culture. Transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct are non-negotiable in every relationship we maintain.
